NO-TALC GRINDING CLOTH (S-88 XL)

This product was developed several years ago in an attempt to alleviate
the time needed to "clean up" after grinding a rubber belt.
As anyone who has ground a belt knows, when Talc is introduced to the
belt face it quickly becomes airborne as the grinding roll touches it.
This airborne Talc then travels and settles everywhere. The end result
is a mess that takes as long or longer to clean up than it does to grind.
Yes, the rubber dust is also suspended in the air, but no where near
the extent of the Talc, principally because it is heavier and tends
to collect at the base of the belt.
The NO-TALC CLOTH consists of a patented abrasive and bond structure
that prevents "loading" of the abrasive and reduces
friction build-up so the abrasive grinds cooler. The special cloth backing
has been pre-stretched and stabilized to create tremendous dimensional
stability of the product. This stability means less down time for "re-tightening"
of the abrasive on the grinding roll -- formerly a common complaint.

*NOTE: OUR NO-TALC abrasive is guaranteed
to be "endless" without having any "seams" or
"splices". This is an extremely important virtue as, otherwise,
a depression will be ground into the rubber belt surface causing "fabric
mark-off" during production.
