Primary Application for PVA stones:
GSW 320 - Rough grinding to within .003 of finish size, remove tool marks
.90 Ra
GSW 400 - Rough grinding to within .003 of finish size, remove tool marks
.55 Ra
GSW 600 - Rough grinding to within .002 of finish size, prepare for polishing
..40 Ra
GSW 800 - Polishing to within .001 of finish size, prepare for fine or
polishing ..32 Ra
GSW 1500 - Medium finish, on size .13 Ra
GSW 3000 - Final finish .05 Ra

Resinoid Stones:
For operations that circumstances that require
considerable stock removal prior to using our GSW
line, we also offer a line of resinoid stones. These
stones range from 200grit to 400 grit and are capable
of removing .008 or more in just a few passes, while
leaving a finish that is more easily be polished
in the following steps by our GSW stones.
FMAR 220 - Rough grinding for removal of .008" or more
FMAR 300S - Rough grinding for removal of .006" to .008"
FMAR 400 - Rough grinding for removal of .003 to .006"
